About the Youth House

aka The Dads' Club

On May 26, 1957, thanks to the efforts of 275 local families and generous gifts from local businesses, the dads of Verdugo Woodlands built a youth house for the children of the community.

Since then, the Youth House, better known as the Dads' Club, has served as a meeting and gathering place for countless community activities.

Pull up a chair. You're one of us.

If your kid goes to Verdugo Woodlands Elementary, you're already a member. You don't need to know anyone, have a special skill, or give up every weekend.

Together we bring community to our students, our kids, and the whole neighborhood. Come to one meeting, flip pancakes at one breakfast, and you'll leave knowing a dozen neighbors.
