Privacy policy
Effective October 2026
The Verdugo Woodlands Dads' Club, Inc. ("the Dads' Club," "we") runs vwdadsclub.org. This page explains what we collect on this site, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
What you type into our forms. When you send a message, a rental request, an event submission, or a newsletter signup, we receive what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, event details, and any photos you upload.
Basic technical data. Our host, Netlify, records standard server logs such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. We do not use advertising trackers or sell ads on this site.
How we use it
We use your information only to answer you, handle rental requests, add you to the dads' group or the newsletter when you ask, and put submitted events on the site. Volunteer officers of the Dads' Club read form submissions. We never sell or rent your information.
Services that help run the site
Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions. Sanity stores the site's content. The events calendar comes from Google Calendar. Ticket sales happen on Zeffy, under Zeffy's own privacy policy. If we send a newsletter, it goes through an email service under its own policy, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Photos
We post photos from club events. If you or your child appear in a photo on this site and you'd like it removed, tell us through the contact form and we'll take it down.
Children
This site is written for parents and community members. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you sent us, or to remove you from the newsletter, at any time. California residents have these rights under state law, and we extend them to everyone.
Contact
Questions about this policy go through our contact form. If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
